WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
I use what could be considered natural ‘documentary’ style methods, as well as a little thoughtful & sensitive direction. My aim is to create honest, poignant images of your nuptials & I try to be as unobtrusive as possible. My personal style could be described as – understated. Real. Simple. As it is. Natural beauty. Truth felt. Truth captured. A little raw. A little messy.
Starting in film photography – the subtleties of the look of film influence my work too.
DO WE NEED TO MEET?
I’m happy to meet couples prior to booking, or after booking + before your wedding day. Some people like to meet face to face, some have a phone chat, some via Skype or FaceTime. Others go ahead and book after a few friendly emails. I’m a ‘people person’ so more than happy to meet, via any method that can be accommodated, at any point :)
DO YOU WORK ALONE - DO WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
I almost always shoot alone, so am confident in assuring couples that I can capture everything needed and more. For large weddings of 120-150+, or affairs that might be long or have a lot going on, or numerous locations - I may recommend a second photographer in order to make sure the day is adequately covered.
DO YOU HAVE TRAVEL FEES
Depending on where your wedding is, usually not. Within a few hours of the Blue Mountains/Sydney I don’t charge a fee. Because I have connections/family/friends in several states, I find travel fees to the areas in the Eastern states minimal, and occasionally not any extra at all. If I do need to book overnight accommodation I ask couples to cover the cost of something modest. For interstate weddings air-fares may be a consideration. I provide a custom quote for interstate and overseas destination weddings - depending on the details of the wedding. I’ll always try my hardest to keep any travel fees to an absolute minimum.
WHAT DO WE RECEIVE?
All wedding coverage includes: pre wedding consultation and advice, high resolution images ready for print, web ready copies, online ‘highlights’ slideshow, full online gallery for easy sharing, and a 10 pack of small fine-art prints.
WHEN DO WE GET OUR IMAGES?
Within 3 days of your wedding I send a few highlights for you to share with family and friends (approx 20). During peak season (spring/autumn) I deliver your full collection of images anywhere between 4-8 weeks after the wedding.
CAN YOU HELP US WITH OUR TIMELINE?
Absolutely!! Photographers LOVE when clients seek advice with their timeline! This enables me to get the very best out of my coverage of your wedding day, ensuring you get your money’s worth! There’s a few key times of day, and aspect of the timeline that are helpful to discuss prior to setting your timeline with your venue and caterers, and I’m super happy to help you with this.
DO YOU OFFER WEDDING ALBUMS?
Yes! I LOVE LOVE LOVE albums, and my most popular collection includes one. But all couples are welcome to order an album at any time after the wedding. You can see more about them here..
